Dear Plaza Owner:
I am pleased to advise you that the Plaza has entered into an agreement for the installation of Internet infrastructure over the building's existing TV cabling. The technology being employed is very similar to what cable companies such as Comcast, TimeWarner, Cox and other cable companies use for their high-speed Internet Cablemodem based services.
The installation of the Internet infrastructure includes the installation of a Cablemodem, an Internet data terminal/wallplate and associated Internet capable wiring in the condo units. The Internet data terminal/wallplate will be installed in the kitchen on the wall adjacent to the existing telephone wall plate.
Upon completion of the installation and turn up of the Internet infrastructure, each condo unit owner, including renters if any, can sign up for Internet service at their own choosing.
There is NO cost to the Plaza or to the owners for this Internet installation and upgrade. If you do not sign up or use the Internet service, there is NO cost to you.
Additional details of the Internet infrastructure upgrade and services will be made available at the May 24, 2008 Town Hall Meeting, including pricing of services, benefits to the Plaza, options, etc.
It is the Board of Directors' position that by enabling the entire building for Internet service, the value of the building and each condo unit will benefit.
If you have any questions pertaining to the information provided in this letter, please feel free to contact the Association Office.
If you do not desire to participate in the free installation of Internet infrastructure in your unit, please contact the Association Office. If we do not hear from you via email, normal mail or by phone within 10 days from the date of this letter, we will consider you are participating in the installation of Internet infrastructure program and will schedule installation for your unit.
